Art looks great displayed in collections. Whether this be a pair, a trio, a foursome or much larger quantities and whether the sizes and frames match or clash, it’s always about personal preference. I was recently commissioned to produce four African wildlife paintings, all with white backgrounds and in a landscape format. This was a gift from one sister to another.
I love the idea of a collection of artworks – you can imagine the paintings in a diagonal line up a staircase or in a symmetrical block on a living room wall. It can be really difficult to think of gifts for family members especially as we are still living in difficult times with restrictions that may limit what we would have done or bought before. To ask an artist to create a set of personal and original paintings is a one-of-a -kind and very special gift that will last a lifetime.
