This is my second year of #drawingaugust. I complete a new drawing every day of the month, exploring and experimenting with various subjects, media and techniques. It’s quite a commitment especially as my ‘normal’ day job of painted pet/wildlife commissions continues alongside. But I do love it. Drawing is really therapeutic (for me, I’m sure if you find drawing difficult then the reverse is true!).
I’ve completed 5 themes this year; farm animals, mothers & babies, puppies, the garden and British wildlife. I display all this artwork on my social media accounts (Facebook: Linda Rodgers Art & Design / Instagram: lindarodgers_artanddesign). I spend a few hours on each piece and sell them. This is art I’ve done for pure pleasure and there should be something to suit anyone who loves animals.
