I was asked by new charity Shine21 (check out their Facebook page) to design 2 artworks for their Christmas cards. Shine21 are raising funds to support families with under 5s who have Down Syndrome. Specialists and resources to help with communication and development are essential for these youngsters but expensive for the families. I have a personal interest in this charity; my nephew Reuben has Down Syndrome. He’ll be 2 in January and, alongside my niece, is the light of my family’s life.
